Join a high-performing team that is going for a home run! Copperweld is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis initiatives. This role partners with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that improve financial performance and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is a strong analytical thinker with solid business acumen and a hands-on approach.
WHATWe Need You To Do.
- Deliver in-depth financial analysis, including variance and trend analysis, to support executive decision-making
- Develop and maintain financial models for revenue, operating expenses, capital expenditures, and cash flow
- Drive continuous improvement in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes through automation and system enhancements
- Track and report financial and non-financial performance KPIs
- Support monthly and quarterly close processes with performance reporting and financial insights
- Assist with board materials and investor-related data requests
- Partner with IT and Business Analytics teams to ensure data integrity and improve report accuracy
- Contribute to special projects and perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience preparing materials for executive audiences is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems (Plex preferred, but not required); familiarity with Power BI and Vena is a plus
- Deep understanding of financial statements and key business drivers
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for turning data into decisions
