Job Description

Position Responsibilities

As a Bookkeeper/Office Manager for a small, but fast-growing company, you will be tasked with multiple responsibilities. Besides bookkeeping and office management, you will also be required to perform HR functions.

Under the direction of the Chief Operations Officer (COO), your duties will include the following:

• Invoicing
• Accounts payable & receivable
• Payroll (via ADP)
• HR (benefits management)
• Potential transition to a different accounting system i.e. Quick Books
• Liaison to property management company re: office needs
• Plan and coordinate inner office functions including but not limited to employee and client events, meals, etc.

Position Requirements

• Accounting degree with three to five years of bookkeeping and related experience
• Proficient in the use of Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office applications
• Although not required, experience with Sage 50 Accounting System (Original Peachtree) is a plus.
• Good verbal and written skills, encompassing complete understanding of the English language is required.
• Willingness to work as a contributing member of the team
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers
• Excellent time-management, planning and interpersonal skills
