Postion Summary

This position supports the Director of Operations with the daily supervision of the BHT Supervisor’s while providing a safe environment for the clients in treatment. The BHT Supervisor monitors each BHT’s ability to maintain the client’s well‑being during the treatment process while assisting them to adjust to the programming routine by answering questions and/or addressing concerns the client may have.

  • Assists with the admission process for new client intake and orientation procedures and schedules
  • Provide guidance/assistance to BHTs as it relates to client support and concerns
  • Monitors the clients completing the mental health program with emphasis on client safety and their well‑being by performing rounds every 30 minutes within the facility
  • Responsible for BHTs work schedules to ensure all shifts are covered appropriately
  • Maintains a Standard Infection Control Precaution policy
  • Participates in all staff meetings as scheduled as well as lead BHT meetings and cascade information to all BHTs
  • Ensures all BHT staff complete required trainings in a timely manner
  • Ensures client confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
  • Maintain professional ethics and boundaries at all times
  • Reporting and responding to safety concerns (client & staff) timely
  • Promote quality client care at all times
  • Responsible for submission of lab requisitions for required testing of clients
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Vocational training preferred in a related field.
  • Must have experience as BHT supervisor, or 2 years of supervising experience in the medical field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a health care setting for client care.
  • Individual must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must have one year of continuous sobriety prior to hire, if a recovering alcoholic or drug addict and participate in a self‑help program.
  • Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and ability to pivot with little or no notice
  • Must have excellent verbal and nonverbal communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills
  • Proficient with MS Office applications
