Consulting Product Analyst
As a Consulting Product Analyst, you will operate in a hybrid role at the intersection of product analytics and product management. You will not only generate insights that inform decisions but also help define what gets built; translating business needs into product requirements, shaping roadmap priorities, and ensuring solutions are operationally ready for launch. This role partners closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations to define requirements, prioritize opportunities, and ensure solutions are grounded in data and user needs.
Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve key product metrics, translating business goals into measurable success criteria
- Lead deep-dive analyses to identify product opportunities and inform roadmap decisions
- Define and refine product requirements (PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria) for custom applications and features
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and Engineering – ensuring clarity, alignment, and execution readiness
- Design and analyze experiments (A/B testing) to validate product changes
- Contribute to product strategy, not just measurement, proactively recommending what to build and why
- Lead Operational Readiness Activities (ORA) to ensure smooth product and feature handoff to Operations team
- Define and coordinate launch readiness requirements, including documentation, training, process alignment, and support models
- Identify operational risks and gaps prior to launch, and drive mitigation plans
Requirements:
- 5–8+ years of experience in product analytics, business analytics, or a related field
- Experience in a product-driven or technology-enabled environment
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field preferred (e.g., Analytics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science)
- Strong product sense, with the ability to connect data insights to product decisions
- Experience contributing to product requirements, feature definition, or roadmap planning
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and translate them into actionable solutions
- Experience writing and refining requirements (PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working closely with Engineering teams
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and data storytelling abilities
- Experience with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Visio)
- Strong understanding of experimentation frameworks and causal analysis
- Experience working with product metrics, funnels, and user behavior data
- SQL and data manipulation skills a plus
