The Salesforce Technical Architect is a key personnel role responsible for providing architectural guidance for the maturation of the Salesforce environment. The architect will support application and platform teams, conduct technical reviews, and ensure the delivery of efficient, scalable solutions across the enterprise.
Core Responsibilities- Architectural Guidance: Provide expert guidance for Salesforce enterprise configuration, ensuring adherence to best practices, security, and scalability.
- Design and Review: Conduct Technical Design Document (TDD) reviews to ensure technical soundness and alignment with release objectives.
- Technical Support: Provide solution architectural support for daily tasks, business needs, strategy, and application development teams.
- Integration and Data Modeling: Design efficient, scalable data models and utilize integration patterns and middleware to connect Salesforce with other systems.
- Team Leadership: Train and support newly assigned development team members.
- Technology Analysis: Conduct analysis of leading-edge technologies and develop Proofs of Concept (POC) to improve the Salesforce platform.
- Release Management: Support release management activities, including application design planning and providing technical directions prior to deployment.
- Security Expertise: Deep understanding of the Salesforce security model, including data access controls and permissions.
- Program Management: Experience with full lifecycle Agile program management within a Salesforce environment.
- Modernization
Experience:
Demonstrated experience delivering solutions to production and migrating legacy applications to modern platforms like Salesforce. - Collaborative
Experience:
Proven history of supporting cross-functional teams in highly collaborative work environments. - Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with senior levels of a customer organization.
- Analytical
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges. - Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with source control, release management, and deployment technologies for efficient software delivery.
- Preferred: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect certification from a recognized credentialing agency is highly preferred
