Location: Brentwood, TN (Hybrid)
Pay: Up to $58/hour W2
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Contract
About the OpportunityWe're seeking a Data Engineer to join a growing Data Management & Business Intelligence team focused on building scalable, governed data solutions that support enterprise-wide initiatives. This role will play a key part in transforming manual and spreadsheet-driven processes into automated, data-driven workflows that improve reporting, analytics, and decision-making. You will work within cross-functional product teams to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, data warehouse solutions, and curated datasets that support business operations, reporting, automation, and AI-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes and enterprise data pipelines
- Build and support data warehouse solutions and governed data products
- Integrate data from multiple source systems for reporting, analytics, and automation
- Perform data acquisition, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
- Develop data models, curated datasets, and scalable reporting structures
- Support data governance initiatives including lineage, testing, quality assurance, and documentation
- Collaborate with Product Owners, BI teams, Developers, Architects, and business stakeholders
- Prepare data for dashboards, reporting platforms, automation workflows, and AI-enabled applications
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot data processing issues
- Strong experience with ETL/ELT development and data pipeline engineering
- Experience with enterprise database platforms such as:
- Google Big Query
- Teradata
- Oracle
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with Python, Power Shell, SSIS, or similar data engineering tools
- Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and data structures
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, validation, reconciliation, and lineage
- Experience integrating multiple source systems and building scalable data solutions
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience supporting Business Intelligence and reporting solutions
- Experience preparing data for automation, advanced analytics, or AI-driven initiatives
- Healthcare industry experience
