Day Shift Number of Positions: 1 The Manager, LBS Technology Finance Function Support will lead the Technology Finance Function Support team and oversee enterprise Finance technology operations supporting Lifepoint Health. This role serves as a critical connection between Finance, Accounting, IT, Oracle Fusion, vendors, and facility stakeholders, ensuring financial applications remain stable, reliable, secure, and aligned with business requirements. The position will oversee day-to-day production support for Oracle Fusion Finance applications while also supporting Finance transformation, ERP optimization, automation, application enhancements, testing, releases, and strategic technology initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines strong Oracle Finance functional/application support experience with technical leadership, stakeholder management, production support, and Finance business-process knowledge.

Team Leadership

Lead and develop the LBS Technology Finance Function Support team. Provide direction, coaching, workload prioritization, and performance management. Assign work and establish priorities based on business and operational requirements. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Develop team capabilities through training, coaching, and knowledge sharing.

Oracle Finance Application Support

Oversee daily production support for Oracle Fusion Finance applications. Ensure timely resolution of system issues, service requests, and production incidents. Troubleshoot complex application issues and maintain system stability.

Support financial applications across:

General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Fixed Assets Cash Management Partner with Finance and IT teams to maintain application configuration, security, data integrity, and system performance.

Finance Technology & Business Partnership

Partner with Finance leadership, Finance Operations, IT, and facility stakeholders. Understand business requirements and translate them into technology solutions. Serve as a consultative technology partner to Finance stakeholders. Manage and prioritize application enhancement requests. Balance production support with strategic Finance transformation initiatives.

Application Testing & Releases

Lead testing for system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and new functionality. Coordinate testing activities with Finance stakeholders and technical teams. Partner with Release Management and Data & Integration teams. Support enterprise-wide application deployments. Ensure changes are thoroughly validated with minimal disruption to business operations.

Vendor & Managed Services Management

Serve as the primary liaison for Finance application vendors and managed service partners. Monitor vendor performance and service delivery. Coordinate escalations and issue resolution. Manage vendor relationships and ensure contractual/service expectations are met.

Finance Transformation

Support Oracle Fusion Finance optimization initiatives.

Support Oracle EPM, including:

Financial Consolidation & Close (FCCS) Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS) Support ERP transformation and Finance modernization initiatives. Contribute to AI-enabled Accounts Payable initiatives. Support payment modernization and future enterprise implementations. Identify automation opportunities and process improvements.

Process Improvement & Governance

Identify opportunities to streamline support processes. Implement technology and process improvements that enhance efficiency and user experience. Monitor support metrics and identify trends. Improve system reliability and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, healthcare regulations, and internal governance requirements. Develop documentation, training materials, and knowledge-sharing resources.
