Salary: $75-$82 per hour

As an IT Solution Architect focused on Marketing Technologies, you will help guide the technology supporting customer engagement and digital marketing initiatives within a large retail environment. You will partner with business and technical teams to understand needs, evaluate solutions, and establish scalable approaches across the marketing technology ecosystem.

In this role, you will provide technical direction throughout the solution lifecycle, from early planning and architecture through implementation and ongoing improvement. You will help shape technology roadmaps, evaluate integration approaches, identify opportunities to improve existing systems and processes, and ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and effectively integrated across the broader enterprise environment.

You will also help identify and implement opportunities to use artificial intelligence and machine learning within the marketing technology ecosystem. This may include applying AI and ML capabilities to personalization, customer engagement, automation, analytics, decision-making, and other evolving business needs.

What you bring to your new team

• 6+ years of progressively technical experience within Information Technology, Marketing Technology, or a related technology environment
• Experience designing, architecting, or providing technical direction for enterprise technology solutions
• Hands-on experience applying AI and/or machine learning capabilities within enterprise technology solutions
• Ability to identify appropriate AI and ML use cases and incorporate those capabilities into solution architecture and technical designs
• Understanding of how AI and ML solutions interact with enterprise applications, APIs, data sources, integrations, and existing technology platforms
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical approaches and solution designs
• Experience developing or contributing to technology roadmaps and longer-term technical strategies
• Strong understanding of application architecture, integrations, APIs, data flows, and enterprise system design
• Experience working across multiple systems and technical environments where integration and data are critical
• Ability to evaluate technical options and clearly communicate recommendations, risks, and tradeoffs to technical and business stakeholders
• Experience identifying opportunities to improve existing systems, processes, and technical approaches
• Knowledge of service-oriented architecture and object-oriented analysis and design concepts
• Understanding of business processes and how technology can be used to improve or support them
• Ability to create and maintain clear technical, architecture, and solution documentation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field preferred. A combination of relevant education and professional experience will also be considered.

• Exposure to Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), CRM systems, personalization platforms, or marketing automation technologies
• Experience integrating ecommerce, loyalty, analytics, marketing, and customer engagement platforms
• Understanding of customer journeys, personalization, and omnichannel engagement
• Experience with in retail, ecommerce, or another high-volume consumer-facing environment
• Experience designing or implementing AI and ML solutions supporting marketing, personalization, recommendations, customer analytics, automation, or customer engagement
• Experience with generative AI, large language models (LLMs), or other emerging AI capabilities within enterprise applications
• Experience evaluating AI and ML technologies and determining where they can provide meaningful business value
• Strong understanding of complex enterprise technology environments and integration patterns
• Experience facilitating technical discovery or analysis sessions with business and technology stakeholders
• Ability to consider technical, operational, and financial factors when evaluating architecture and solution options
