Regional Maintenance Tech (Finance)

Brookdale is seeking a Regional Maintenance Technician to support their communities across Connecticut and Upstate New York. This role will provide hands‑on assistance to 14 communities in the region, partnering closely with each location’s maintenance leadership.

Multi‑site and building maintenance experience is required.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Role is also eligible for team based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum of three to five years of related experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid Driver’s License required for frequent vehicle travel.

Uses strong analytic skills and an in‑depth understanding of the organization and the business to handle arising problems and issues. Solves diverse problems using solid analytical skills where limited precedents/guidelines exist. Experience in managing and mentoring sourcing professionals. Demonstrated leadership experience. Strong delegation and management skills.

Has an advanced knowledge of the organization, industry, and a functional discipline. Extensive understanding of technical areas gained through experience and used to complete and/or oversee assignments. Knowledge of building equipment, building codes and building systems (HVAC, plumbing and electrical) in health care facilities. Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.
