Job Title: Director, Projects, Fixed Assets, and Lease Accounting

Salary Range: $125,000 – $150,000
OverviewThis role leads the organization’s project, fixed asset, and lease accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and consistent operational practices. The position supports leadership across facilities and business lines by providing analysis, guidance, and oversight of capital project activity, asset lifecycle management, and lease accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and develop the Projects, Fixed Assets, and Lease Accounting team, overseeing project setup, cost tracking, accounting, and reporting.
- Maintain standardized policies, workflows, and documentation for project accounting within Oracle systems.
- Ensure accurate and complete project, fixed asset, and lease records across all sites and divisions.
- Partner with facility and division leaders on project initiation, capital vs. operating determinations, and budgeting/forecasting activities.
- Implement and monitor controls to safeguard assets and ensure balance sheet accounts are properly supported.
- Oversee general ledger and subledger review, including analysis and reconciliation using reporting tools such as OTBI, FDI, and EPM.
- Provide guidance to staff and support reporting needs for facility and operations leaders.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, standardization, and cost effectiveness.
- Conduct P&L and balance sheet reviews related to projects, fixed assets, and leases, offering clear insights and commentary.
- Partner with Financial Operations, Site Liaison, and Technical Accounting teams on complex accounting matters.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and other analytical needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 7+ years of experience in project and fixed asset accounting.
- Strong knowledge of project, fixed asset, and lease accounting practices.
- Experience developing accounting procedures and documentation.
- Proficiency with Oracle and reporting tools such as OTBI, FDI, and EPM.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and drive results.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.
