NHC Store Manager & General Manager

Job Summary The Store Manager & General Manager position oversees daily operations of NHC's Brentwood, TN retail store (93 Seaboard), ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient, well-run store management. Primary responsibilities include supervising and training staff, managing inventory and product assortment, and driving sales to meet store targets and KPI benchmarks. This role also develops and implements local marketing strategies, maintains deep product knowledge, and ensures the store is well-organized, fully stocked, and reflective of NHC's brand standards.

As General Manager, this role additionally monitors and manages sublet tenants operating within the 93 Seaboard space, serving as the primary point of contact for sublease compliance, tenant relations, facility coordination, and ensuring subtenant operations align with NHC's standards and lease terms. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, sound judgment in vendor and tenant relationships, and the ability to manage both retail operations and property-level responsibilities in a single role.

• Oversees daily store operations at the Brentwood, TN (93 Seaboard) location, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Hires, trains, and manages store staff, providing guidance, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities to ensure a motivated and capable team.
• Ensures high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and fostering a welcoming and helpful store environment.
• Manages inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and coordinating with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize shrinkage.
• Oversees store finances, including budgeting, cash handling, and expense management, to ensure profitability and financial health of the store.
• Analyzes sales data, prepares reports, and provides insights to senior management to inform business decisions and improve store performance.
• Builds and maintains positive relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to enhance customer loyalty.
• Implements and oversees local marketing initiatives and promotional activities to drive traffic and increase sales.
• Enhances store shelving and frameworks, creating an attractive and organized shopping environment that highlights key products and promotions.
• Monitors and manages sublet tenants operating within the 93 Seaboard facility, serving as the primary point of contact for tenant relations, facility coordination, and adherence to sublease terms.
• Coordinates with property management, vendors, and subtenants on maintenance, access, and shared-space issues to ensure the facility operates smoothly for all occupants.
