This position reports to the Head of Sales or their designee and is located outside of Nashville, TN. Collaborates with marketing, engineering, and production teams to provide accurate information and close sales efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and qualify leads through phone calls, emails, and online inquiries.
- Present and promote Odulair’s products to prospective clients by explaining features, benefits, and pricing.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of leads in the CRM system, ensuring accurate records of interactions and follow-ups.
- Prepare and send detailed quotes and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop effective sales materials and campaigns.
- Conduct product demonstrations virtually to help clients understand our solutions better.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any concerns or objections.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position Odulair’s products.
- Other duties as assigned by the Head of Sales or their designee.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, preferably in a technical or B2B environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Knowledge of CRM systems (Hub Spot, Salesforce, or similar) for managing leads and tracking sales progress.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to understand technical information and explain it in simple terms to clients.
- A can-do, positive approach and a willingness to help others is essential.
Equipment and Applications:
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail) and CRM systems.
- Familiarity with virtual meeting tools (Zoom, Google Meet).
Work Environment Physical Demands:
- Primarily office-based with occasional travel for trade shows and client meetings if required.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment while maintaining a methodical approach.
- Compliance with Odulair's Health and Safety Policy and all relevant safety regulations is mandatory.
