Principal, Education Administration

Transylvania County Schools seeks a Principal for Brevard High School. Position is available July 1, 2026. Position is full-time and includes employment benefits; 12-month employment term plus 9.0% local supplement. Applicants for the position must hold or be eligible to hold NC licensure in area 0012 (School Administrator Principal) and must demonstrate:

* Successful teaching, administrative, and leadership experience

* Dedication to supporting and improving positive student achievement

* Superior instructional leadership qualities

* Ability to lead the development of Professional Learning Communities

* Excellent interpersonal skills with a variety of stakeholders

* Strong organizational, managerial, and problem-solving skills

* Sound knowledge of school business practices and operations
