Hours:

Monday-Wednesday 8a-5p.

Candidates with an active OCN will receive a $2.25 differential. In addition, an OCN holder will receive a $2.25 PRN differential.

Pay Range

$26.54 - $49.29

Job Description Summary

Provides safe, accurate and efficient patient care, including patient assessment, review of labs and vital signs, medication safety, dose verification, drug administration, triage care, and communication to the multidisciplinary team.

Key Performance Areas

Safely and accurately administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, supportive care, and non‑oncologic agents using ONS standards.

Dispose of biohazardous waste per OSHA and NIOSH guidelines.

Provide patient education and ongoing assessment.

Document treatments thoroughly in EMR and ensure appropriate charges.

Maintain patient identification protocol per JBI.

Educate patients and caregivers about medications, side effects, and treatment plans.

Telephone triage: prioritize calls/messages from patients, families, hospitals, nursing facilities, pharmacies, and physician offices, responding within the appropriate time frame.

Assist with inventory, restock supplies, recommend new items, and place stock in storage areas timely.

Complete required safety and nursing trainings and attend mandatory staff meetings.

Maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information.

Assist in training new employees per JBIs.

Travel to any company location as needed; overtime may be required with sufficient notice.

Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Comply with all federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to patient privacy, personnel law, safety, labor, and employment law.

Adhere to company and departmental policies, IT policies, and disaster plans.

Education

Nursing Degree.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

Unencumbered RN license in the state of employment or a multi‑state license.
Current CPR and BLS certifications.
Valid driver’s license and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations as needed.
Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital setting.
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to react calmly in emergency situations.
Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication.

Standard Core Workdays/Hours

Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required based on location hours and operational needs.
