Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
Shift11:00 am – 9:00 pm. No call.

QualificationsRequired Experience:
One year of OR RN nursing experience and/or applicable experience.
Preferred Experience:
Charge nurse experience.
Required
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program with the requirement to obtain a BSN within five years of hire date. Grandfathering accepted between departments and Mission Health entities. Exemptions or extensions may be approved by the facility CNO and reported to the CNO Council. RNs with 10 years or more of experience are exempt.
Preferred Education:
Masters Degree in Nursing.
Required License:
Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or having an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation. Must maintain current licensure as RN with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact) license may apply; licensee should confirm with NCBON.

Certifications:
BLS and ACLS.
