Overview
We are seeking a Nurse Manager for our Cardiovascular Progressive Care (4 Heart) unit at Mission Hospital, a division of HCA Healthcare. This role will promote growth and unlock possibilities by leading a 56‑person team in a 40‑bed unit.

- Responsible and accountable for daily operations of the 40‑bed Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit
- Advocate and allocate resources to promote efficient, effective, safe, quality and compassionate nursing care based on current standards
- Integrate clinical, human resource and financial data to support decision making
- Promote research and integrate evidence‑based practice into clinical, operational and leadership processes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards
- Supervise, facilitate and coordinate clinical care, demonstrating leadership and coordination with nursing leadership in organizational planning and evaluation of initiatives
- Contribute to professional development of staff, students and colleagues; foster mutual respect and understanding
- Recruit, welcome and encourage new employees, creating a supportive environment that promotes growth and learning
- Education:
- Required:
BSN or equivalent (ADN with MSN, BA with MSN) - Preferred:
Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Required:
- Licenses &
Certifications:- Current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; an eNLC license may apply
- National certification in a specialty area within one year of accepting the role (leadership or clinical)
- BLS Healthcare Provider
- Experience:
- Minimum of five years of recent nursing experience
- At least two years of recent clinical hospital experience with proven leadership skills
- Preferred:
Prior leadership experience in a similar setting
