Position Overview
This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care as a Registered Nurse in a 40-bed unit dedicated to recovery from cardiac, vascular, lung, and other surgeries. The RN collaborates with medical providers to deliver pre- and post-operative care, assess patient conditions, perform procedures, administer medications, and document care accurately.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient status during admission and shifts, reporting any changes.
- Perform ordered procedures and treatments.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
- Maintain thorough documentation in medical records.
- Stay informed about cardiac care procedures, medications, and equipment.
- RN Licensure with a Bachelor’s or Associate Degree.
- Minimum of 1+ years of RN experience.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications obtained within 30 days of employment.
