** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directional support, and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

+ Support a professional environment by following post orders, maintaining awareness of daily activity, and assisting with security-related requests consistent with Allied Universal standards.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Must be willing to comply with hospital vaccine requirements.

+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes the morgue.

+ Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting when required.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
