Brewer Veterinary Clinic is looking to add a dependable, compassionate, and skilled Relief Veterinarian to provide coverage on an as‑needed basis. This role is ideal for veterinarians looking for a flexible schedule while working with a professional and welcoming team. As part of our team, you’ll work with the latest technology, gain access to state‑of‑the‑art facilities, and collaborate with a positive team to deliver the highest quality of care to the pet patients we all love.
Brewer Veterinary Clinic is an AAHA‑accredited, high‑volume, small animal practice. Our dedicated staff consists of a team of receptionists, veterinary assistants, licensed veterinary technicians, and veterinarians. We all work together to offer compassionate and superior care to our clients and their companions!
We have a newly renovated state‑of‑the‑art facility, on‑site digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, IDEXX diagnostic equipment, as well as a well‑stocked surgical suite and pharmacy.
Location:
Brewer, ME
- Provide high‑quality medical, surgical, and preventive care for small animals
- Perform physical exams, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Interpret diagnostic tests including radiographs and lab results
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners about diagnoses and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree
- A current ME Veterinary License
- Previous experience in a small animal practice preferred
- Excel in managing time, prioritizing tasks, and thriving in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to different workflows and clinic systems
