DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT

OF POSITION:

1:1 EA position in a self-contained classroom supporting students diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). Position requires the following:

* Ability to work under the direction of the teacher;

* Provide essential services to a student to meet educational goals and objectives;

* Ability to collaborate with staff in and out of the classroom;
Strong organizational skills;

* Behavior modification experience/ABA training preferred but not required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma. Experience working with special education students preferred. RBT Certification preferred. Willingness to be Safety Care trained;
Ability to perform necessary physical activities to fulfill job responsibilities;
Willingness to engage in ABA/ behavior training.

SALARY:

$24.00-$26.98 per hour
