Director of Post Acute Services; RN

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned unit
• Oversee resident care to promote the highest level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning possible for the assigned unit
• Ensure complete and prompt reporting of incidents with follow-up as necessary to the Administrator and Director of Nursing
• Actively participate in committee/programs as directed by the Director of Nursing
• Participate in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures based on identified needs

• Current, unencumbered, active RN license in MA
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR)
• Preferred nursing degree from an accredited college or university
• Five or more years of nursing experience, including at least two years as a supervisor in a nursing care center, hospital, or related health care center
