Shift Administrator - Juvenile Justice

Eliot's is seeking Shift Administrators to join our Juvenile Justice program's residential division. Eliot's Juvenile Justice residential program provides court-involved youth, ages 13 to 21. These highly structured, self-contained programs offer a comprehensive intervention for juvenile offenders. Eliot is searching for a Shift Administrator with experience working with youthful offenders. The ideal candidate will have an active knowledge of issues relating to the program population, including:
Trauma, Gang Issues, Violence, Poverty and Family Dysfunction. Experience with regulatory requirements as well as clinical and behavioral treatment is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of residential programming.
  • Practice principles of Positive Youth Development and Trauma Informed Care.
  • Act as a mentor and coach with youth, utilizing Trauma Informed Care Interventions, and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and other evidence based practices.
  • Maintain compliance with program routines and policies.
  • Provide staff supervision, guidance and coaching.
  • Serve as a member of the administrative team and the on-call rotation.
  • Facilitate and participate in orientation, training and development opportunities for staff.
  • Submit timely and accurate employee supervision documentation and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and maintain positive, productive working relationships with staff, youth and external resources

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field
  • Valid Massachusetts drivers license
  • At least two years experience working with youthful offenders or similar population
  • Driver's license and vehicle

Schedule:

Sun-Mon, 9am-5pm and Tue-Thurs 1pm-9pm (Sunday, Monday off)

Annual Salary $60,000 - $60,000 USD
