, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $13.39 / Hour
Job Schedule- Mon: 02:00 PM – 06:00 PM
- Thur: 02:00 PM – 06:00 PM
- Sat: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
- Sun: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, screening entry and exit activity, and supporting security‑related protocols for the location.
- Monitor doors, gates, badges, and visitor registration processes to help regulate authorized access to the facility, production areas, and restricted spaces.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and key access points, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Document daily activity, access‑related events, and unusual conditions, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or security‑related incidents according to site procedures.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
