Operate heavy equipment safely at a recycling facility, landfill, or transfer station to transfer, spread, cover, load, or compact waste or soil;
Perform pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is clean and safe to operate;
Monitor waste materials for evidence of unacceptable waste and monitor equipment condition to minimize downtime;
Complete Equipment Condition Reports and report necessary repairs to supervisor;
Maintain a clean and serviced shop and perform minor equipment service as needed
