The Cost Accountant will analyze and report manufacturing costs to support accurate financial reporting, cost control, and profitability.
- This role will maintain standard costs, monitor and reconcile inventory, analyze material, labor, and overhead variances, support month-end close, physical inventory counts, budgeting and forecasting, and provide management with reporting on COGS, margins, and plant performance.
- The position will partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and Finance to improve costing accuracy, strengthen controls, and identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 2–5+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience
, strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and GAAP, and advanced Excel and Accumatica skills.
