Job Description
We are a growing firm seeking a Tax Senior with at least 5 years of CPA-firm tax experience. CPA preferred, not required with strong skills in reviewing and preparing complex returns for commercial real estate partnerships, construction companies, manufacturers, distributors, and other closely held businesses.

You’ll be hands-on with a mix of clients in industries that require real technical depth, including:
- Commercial real estate partnerships
- Construction contractors and developers
- Manufacturing and distribution companies
- Closely held businesses across multiple states
- International tax
- Public company or SEC work
- Big-firm siloed specialization

Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, and high-net-worth individuals
- Handle multi-state filing requirements, nexus considerations, and allocation/apportionment issues
- Research and resolve tax questions for clients proactively
- Manage workflow, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly with clients and partners
- Supervise staff as needed
- Support tax planning, projections, and transactional matters
- Tax Senior- minimum 5+ years’ experience preparing 1065, 1120S, all types including high net worth individual 1040, 1041.
- Must have CPA firm only experience.
- CPA license and CCH software is must
- Multi state tax prep experience
- Must also have accounting chops to handle year end work papers for primarily tax basis financials.
- Real estate, wholesale distribution, construction industry exposure.
- Not seeking Tax Managers.
- This is a client centric, high net worth client base, great communication skills
- $110-120+ for the right person.
- Solid working knowledge of CCH Pro System fx and tax research tools
- A stable client base of closely-held businesses
