Senior Tax Accountant — Support Tax Director Across 3 NJ Offices West Caldwell / Meadowlands / Andover, NJ $85K–$120K depending on experience

A growing CPA firm platform is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to support a senior Tax Director across three New Jersey offices:
West Caldwell, Meadowlands and Andover
.

This is a strong opportunity for someone from a CPA firm background who wants broader exposure, more client contact and the chance to develop under an experienced senior tax leader.

You’ll support the Tax Director and existing office teams across tax preparation, bookkeeping, financial statements and client delivery.

The client base is mainly small businesses and business owners
, with some HNW / individual tax work.

• Preparing 1040, 1065, 1120-S, 1120 and 1041 returns
• Preparing financial statements and work papers
• Assisting with small business and business-owner clients
• Supporting client queries, notices and tax planning work
• Working closely with the Tax Director across multiple NJ offices
• Helping improve systems, processes and workflow

• Current or recent CPA firm / public accounting experience is essential
• Experience with small business clients and individual/entity returns
• Bookkeeping and financial statement exposure would be useful
• Quick Books or similar accounting software experience helpful
• CPA / EA / CPA track useful but not essential
• Someone hands‑on, organised and keen to develop

This is best suited to a Tax Associate, Senior Tax Accountant or developing Tax Senior who wants broader small‑business tax and accounting exposure.
