Global Strategic Sourcing Intern

• Conduct supplier and supply market analysis using data, reports, and technology trends
• Support sourcing strategies aligned with stakeholder requirements and KPIs
• Develop cost models and purchase price analyses to identify savings opportunities
• Prepare reports on category spend, savings, compliance, and annual budget/profit planning
• Assist with pre-negotiation plans, negotiation sessions, and post-negotiation analysis
• Create and manage RFIs, RFPs, and e-Auctions using electronic procurement tools
• Assist with supplier contract and commitment management
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and support improvement initiatives
• Analyze datasets and spend trends using data analytics and visualization tools
• Evaluate digital technologies and AI solutions for supplier management and procurement transformation
• Support sourcing and cross-functional projects using project management processes and tools
• Conduct financial, compliance, and ethical risk assessments and help implement mitigation plans
• Produce high-quality work and share best practices across teams and regions

• Current sophomore or junior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or a related business/technical discipline
• Must commit to hybrid, on-site employment for 10–12 weeks in summer 2027
• Previous pharmaceutical/animal health industry or Fortune 500 company experience preferred
• Demonstrated academic excellence
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Interest or experience with Generative AI, AI productivity tools such as Co-pilot, or automated business workflows
• Strong personal integrity and ethical standards
• Excellent interpersonal and interaction skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently with accountability and initiative
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including clear and concise presentations
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
