Dance Academy is dedicated to providing high-energy, supportive, and technique-driven dance education to students of all skill levels. We empower our dancers to build confidence, express themselves, and develop strong foundational skills in a creative and welcoming environment.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Afro Hip Hop Teacher to join our team in Sicklerville, NJ. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in African dance styles and modern Hip Hop, a dynamic energy in the classroom, and a love for teaching young dancers. You will be responsible for leading engaging weekly classes, breaking down movement with clear technique, and choreographing pieces for upcoming showcases and events.

Instruction:
Teach engaging Afro Hip Hop classes tailored to various age groups and skill levels.

Curriculum & Culture:
Blend foundational Afro-centric movements (e.g., Afrobeat, Amapiano, West African influences) with contemporary Hip Hop styles, emphasizing musicality, rhythm, and cultural awareness.

Choreography:
Create original, age-appropriate routines for end-of-season recitals, showcases, or local community performances.

Classroom Management:
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and encouraging studio culture that promotes growth and confidence.

Communication:
Maintain open communication with studio leadership regarding student progress, attendance, and class updates.

Demonstrated experience performing and teaching Afro Hip Hop or related styles (Afrobeat, Commercial Hip Hop, Dancehall, etc.).

Strong understanding of movement technique, musicality, and cultural origins of the styles taught.

Proven ability to engage, motivate, and manage students effectively.

Reliable, punctual, and professional with strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to commit to a consistent weekly class schedule.
