Responsibilities
  • Provide chairside assistance during procedures, including room setup, instrument passing, temporary crown fabrication, digital scanning, and Invisalign, case management.
  • Take and develop dental X‑rays with accuracy and full safety compliance.
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain equipment per infection‑control standards.
  • Manage patient flow: greet patients, gather medical histories, review treatment plans and post‑op instructions, and assist in managing Invisalign patients.
  • Maintain accurate charts, treatment notes, and billing information in line with privacy regulations.
  • Schedule and manage appointments, patient communication, and follow‑ups.
  • Qualifications
    • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program and current registration as a Dental Assistant (RDA) in [insert state or region].
    • X‑ray certification and experience in taking and developing dental X‑rays.
    • Proficiency in dental software and computer skills for maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
    • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in patient care.
    • CPR certification is preferred but not required.
