Starting Rate for New Adjunct Faculty: $956.00 per Credit
Courses are taught on ground at both JSQ and NHC Campuses;
Remote Options available. All computer Arts courses are 4 Contact Hours.

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences Meta Major encompasses a number of disciplines, including Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Human Services/Pre‑Social Work, Addictions Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, History, and Education (Special Education, Infant/Toddler, Early Childhood, and Elementary/Secondary). Programs include Associate of Applied Science, Associate of Arts, and Associate of Science. We also offer professional development certificates and preparation for immediate employment.
Summary of Duties- Digital Imaging – creation of digital images with Adobe Photoshop and other digital tools
- Digital Animation – 2D and 3D animation techniques using Adobe Creative Cloud applications and Cinema 4D or Blender
- 3D Digital Design – 3D modeling, 3D scanning, and 3D printing
- Interactive/Web Design – front‑end design using Figma and an introduction to HTML and CSS
- Digital Video – preproduction, production, and postproduction covering cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and editing in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Print Design – graphic design techniques using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in discipline or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with a culturally diverse population and to effectively and respectfully function and communicate within the context of varying beliefs, behaviors, orientations, identities, and cultural backgrounds.
- Availability to teach more than one class.
