Job Description
Atlantic Health is looking for a well-qualified per diem Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services to children aged birth to three years old who are eligible for early intervention services in the Multidisciplinary Department in Atlantic Health Goryeb Children's Hospital. Services are also provided in a child's natural environment which may include their home and child care day care programs.
This position is open to provide full coverage for a full-time employee during LOA from May-October 2026.
The candidate must be a licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of New Jersey. A candidate with at least one year of experience in early intervention (more specifically ages birth to five years) who have developmental delays and disabilities.
Responsibilities- Follow NJEIS policy and procedures
- Enter accurate information into EIMS on a timely basis
- Prepare IFSP outcomes and Form 13 with parental input
- Submit monthly paperwork on time
- Participate in AHS EIP Team Meetings
- Serve as a resource to AHS Team Members
- Promote use of practice standards across discipline specific evidence-based competencies
- Must be a Licensed Occupational Therapist, State of New Jersey
- Candidates must have a car and a valid and unrestricted Driver License with a clean driving record
- Preferred: at least one year of professional experience with individuals from ages birth to five years who have developmental delays and disabilities
