Responsibilities
- Serve as a resource for the interdisciplinary team
- Adhere to the Standards of Practice and institutional policy
- Provide occupational therapy intervention in a technically competent manner
- Engage in communication with the Acute Care Occupational Therapist
- Document interventions within 2 hours of therapy
- Occupational Assistant license in good standing (Pennsylvania)
- New Jersey license in good standing (if working in New Jersey)
- Registered with National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy
- Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Current CPR certification
- Successful completion of coursework and clinical affiliations from an accredited occupational therapy educational program
