Sports Med Physical Therapy is seeking Per-Diem Occupational Therapists to handle coverage at multiple Sports Med locations.
The Occupational Therapist organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation. This person directs patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance. The Occupational Therapist facilitates the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity, in order to diminish or correct pathology.
Responsibilities- Treat a variety of hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder injuries and post‑op
- Perform initial evaluations, establish recovery goals, and develop plans of care based on findings
- Document all evaluations and treatments
- Educate patients and appropriate parties on evaluations and treatment plans
- Maintain effective communication with patients, Sports Med providers, and other team members.
- New Jersey Occupational Therapist License
