We are currently looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. The position would be responsible for providing occupational therapy evaluation and treatment to patients in their homes or alternate community settings within Mercer County, NJ. PositionSummary
Responsible for providing occupational therapy evaluation and treatment to patients in their homes or alternate community settings.
Principal Responsibilities- Support organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationships with co‑workers.
- Assess and evaluate clients for occupational therapy needs and develop and implement an appropriate plan of action in collaboration with the physician.
- Document all changes in client’s condition and update care plans and outcomes accordingly.
- Identify patient, caregiver, and family counseling and education needs and plan appropriate teaching strategies.
- Monitor quality and appropriateness of services provided.
- Participate in VNAHG’s QAPI and in‑service programs.
- Adhere to agency infection control and safety policies.
- Adhere to the organization’s policy regarding absenteeism and appearance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Occupational Therapy Licensure in NJ.
- 2–3 years of prior clinical experience and community‑based experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid NJ driver’s license.
Working indoors/outdoors, driving, lifting, sitting, standing, walking, fine‑motor hand movement, use of phone and tablet for documentation.
CompensationIn compliance with New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act, the compensation range for this position is USD $84,000 to USD $112,000. When determining an offer, VNA Health Group considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions.
