The Perinatal Training Coordinator is a key member of the Perinatal Education Team and plays an important role in supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality maternity, gynaecology and neonatal services through the effective coordination of mandatory, statutory and specialist perinatal training. The post holder will be responsible for coordinating training programmes, monitoring and reporting training compliance, maintaining accurate training records and supporting the administration of education programmes across the Women's & Children's Division.
Working closely with the Practice Development Lead Midwife, Perinatal Education Lead, clinical educators and multidisciplinary teams, the role will help ensure staff training remains compliant with national maternity standards and Trust requirements. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritise competing demands and maintain accurate records. Experience of using Microsoft Office packages is essential, and experience of working with systems such as ESR, e-Rostering or other learning management systems would be advantageous.
