Job Description
Mental Health Clinician Duties
- Conduct consultations with all clients (children and parents) prior to scheduling sessions.
- Ensure a quiet, supportive, clear, safe, and confidential space for in person sessions.
- Provide direct individual or family counseling services to clients for 45 to 60 minutes.
- Complete all initial treatment assessment forms and establish DSM V diagnosis for each client. Consult with Supervisor and update the diagnosis as needed.
- Maintain timely and accurate progress notes.
- Attend professional development opportunities provided by practice to improve service delivery and enhance the clinician’s skill set.
Licensure Requirements
- LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW
- Experience providing Play-based and Expressive Arts-based therapy preferred
