Emergency Medical Technician ​/ EMT - Per Diem - Various Locations

Job Description

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Emergency Medical Technician I to work varied shifts including weekends, as required by department. Positions are available throughout a variety of New Jersey locations. Our current per diem rate is $25.29 / hour with eligibility for overtime and shift differentials.

• Provide pre-hospital care to sick/injured patients.
• Provide inter-facility medical transportation as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Current NJ, NY, PA, or National EMT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid driver’s license with unrestricted driving record required
• Must be able to lift 125lbs
• Selected candidates must maintain respirator fit test readiness at all times

• 1-3 years of prior experience is a plus
