Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for a “Pharmacist – Outpatient” to support one of our healthcare partners in Newark, NJ
. This is a contract assignment with strong potential for extension and a great opportunity to gain experience with a respected healthcare organization!

• Location: Newark, NJ
• Schedule: Day Shift (5x7.5-Hour Days)
• Start Date: 09/15/2025
• Duration: 13 weeks

Position Summary: We are seeking a licensed and experienced Outpatient Pharmacist to join a high-performing retail pharmacy team at a well-established healthcare facility. This position will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered medication dispensing and counseling in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacy professionals looking to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

• Review, prepare, and dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Provide patient counseling and education on proper medication use
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication therapy
• Monitor for drug interactions, contraindications, and appropriate dosages
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure proper storage of medications
• Uphold standards of quality, safety, and compliance

• Active RPh license in the state of New Jersey (Required)
• Minimum of 1 year of retail or outpatient pharmacy experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience in community or hospital-based outpatient pharmacy is a plus
