Physician Assistant

• Serve as a primary assistant to the doctor
• Conduct clinical evaluation of patients in the office
• Counsel patients and their families regarding proposed surgical procedures
• Address pre- and post-operative patient questions and concerns
• Serve as surgical first assist in the operating room
• Communicate effectively with outpatient staff and inpatient hospital teams
• Interact closely with office staff, other PAs, patients, and families to provide high-level clinical care and service

• Graduation from an accredited PA program
• Current NYS PA License
• BLS/ACLS certification
• NCCPA board certification
• Current Infection Control Certification
• Completed child abuse recognition course
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player
• Surgical experience or training is preferred

Demonstrates expertise in clinical evaluation, patient counseling, and surgical assistance, while effectively communicating with healthcare teams and providing high-level patient care. Holds essential certifications and licenses to ensure compliance and quality in clinical practice.
