Role
Principal Scientist in Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division, focusing on model-informed drug development (MIDD) across drug development stages.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute clinical pharmacology strategies.
- Design and oversee pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) studies.
- Perform PK/PD analyses and interpret results to guide dose selection and study design.
- Manage regulatory interactions, contribute to regulatory documents, and support business development evaluations.
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Pharmacology, or related field.
- 5+ years in pharma/biotech.
- Expertise in PK, PD, modeling tools (e.g., NONMEM, R, Gastroplus), and understanding of MIDD principles.
High-Value: biologics or small molecules, early to late-stage development, regulatory strategy involvement, and experience with PK/PD modeling and translational medicine. Stakeholder interaction includes cross-functional teams and regulatory agencies.
Location:
Raritan, Titusville, or Spring House (NJ/PA), with approximately 5% domestic/international travel.
