Advanced Family Counselor Services is currently seeking experienced LCADC/ substance addiction counselors who can handled the daily tasks listed below.
The Job Description For LCADC Consists Of The Typical Daily Tasks Listed Below:
- MUST HAVE A VALID NEW JERSEY "SUBSTANCE ADDICTION COUNSELOR" LICENSE.
- Meet with clients to assess their substance issues
- Write treatment and recovery plans:
- Identify recovery interference situations
- Educate clients on coping mechanisms
- Conduct group therapy sessions for patients:
- Track and analyze patient recovery progression:
- Help clients plan for discharge from facilities:
- Communicate with clients and family members
- Craft patient crisis management plans:
- Intervene during emergency situations:
- Work with clients to find or maintain employment:
The daily tasks of a LCADC/substance abuse counselor can vary depending on the current/active work load status of the agency.
