Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Our clients throughout Bergen and Morris County are seeking analytical, detail-oriented Compensation Analysts to support compensation programs, salary benchmarking, job evaluations, and pay equity initiatives. These opportunities are ideal for professionals who enjoy working with data, partnering with HR and business leaders, and helping organizations make informed compensation decisions. The role typically focuses on ensuring compensation programs remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives.
WhatYou'll Be Doing
- Analyze compensation data and market trends to support salary recommendations.
- Conduct job evaluations, benchmarking, and internal equity reviews.
- Assist with the administration of salary structures, merit programs, incentives, and bonus plans.
- Support annual compensation planning cycles.
- Participate in pay equity analyses and provide recommendations based on findings.
- Prepare compensation reports, dashboards, and leadership presentations.
- Maintain compensation documentation, job architecture, and related records.
- Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders on compensation-related initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of compensation, HR analytics, financial analysis, or related experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with HRIS systems and compensation databases.
- Knowledge of market pricing, salary surveys, and job evaluation methodologies.
- Ability to translate complex compensation data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting compensation programs in a multi-site or corporate environment.
- Familiarity with pay transparency regulations and pay equity analysis.
- Experience with compensation modeling, reporting tools, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.
- CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification is a plus.
