- Evaluate complex technical issues and provide actionable guidance, innovative solutions, and process standardization
- Use wireframes, designs, and components to transform business requirements into email or direct mail communications using HTML, CSS, and AEM components
- Develop complex custom HTML projects requiring high-touch stakeholder communication
- Develop and consult on multiple concurrent projects
- Advise marketing teams and stakeholders on capability gaps and recommend solutions
- Thoroughly test work for functional and design requirements
- Work with QA resources to troubleshoot and resolve defects
- Collaborate with PMO and Team Operations to provide estimates, establish timelines, and communicate statuses
- Consult on process and technology innovations that enhance capabilities or productivity within the AEM ecosystem
- Mentor junior developers on email development best practices
- Build customer-facing marketing communications for Verizon's home and mobile businesses
- Develop personalized customer communications supporting product awareness, service updates, and customer offers
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
- Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training
- Strong technical leadership skills and ability to evaluate intricate problems, provide guidance, and drive standardization
- Strong development experience using current HTML and CSS
- Experience with AEM 6.5 building blocks, including templates, components, dispatcher, and workflow
- Experience building emails
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira
- Experience working with a Digital Asset Management system
- Proficiency in G-Suite, including Gmail, Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Forms
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline preferred
- AEM Certification preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with content management systems or software
- Experience with the Adobe suite of communications products
- Knowledge of Adobe AEM component development and best practices
- Knowledge of content modeling
