Technical Support Engineer

Salary: $75,000 - $92,000 (Based on Experience)

One of our clients located in Middlesex County New Jersey is a growing manufacturing and technology organization that is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide customer support, troubleshoot technical issues, assist with product implementation, and support testing and documentation efforts. This role works closely with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful product deployment, issue resolution, and ongoing technical support.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical resource for customer inquiries and product support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve product-related issues while documenting findings and recommendations.
• Coordinate product evaluations, repairs, returns, and corrective actions.
• Provide technical documentation, product information, and support materials to customers.
• Perform product testing and assist with validation and quality initiatives.
• Maintain accurate product specifications, records, and technical documentation.
• Assist with the development and publication of product literature and support resources.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and customer service teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
• 0-2 years of technical support, engineering, manufacturing, or related experience.
• Basic understanding of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or industrial systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with product testing, quality assurance, or technical support processes.
• Experience reviewing technical drawings, specifications, or documentation.
• Exposure to CRM, ERP, or similar business systems.
• Customer-facing technical support experience.

Salary range is $75-90K
