Commercial Lines Account Executive

The ideal candidate will manage the servicing and marketing requirements of clients, which includes developing submissions and negotiating policy terms and conditions. The account executive will deliver exceptional client service to the assigned business portfolio, supporting all facets of new and renewal business, and will be tasked with maintaining documentation, record-keeping, and processing for insureds. The position operates within a 120-day renewal timeline.

The individual will assist in collecting underwriting information (such as exposure data and complete renewal applications) and market submissions to underwriters. Responsibilities also include reviewing quotes and preparing proposal presentations, addressing client inquiries and concerns, and supporting the team lead in client retention efforts.

A college degree is required, along with a New Jersey insurance license or the capability to obtain one (the company will reimburse the related expenses). An insurance designation, such as ARM, CIC, or CPCU, is preferred. Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, is essential. Familiarity with Applied Epic systems or another comparable agency management system is advantageous.

The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and the capability to perform effectively under pressure to meet deadlines while managing priorities efficiently.
