Director of Fund Operations

Our client, a leading alternative investment manager with approximately $3 billion in assets under management, is seeking a Director of Operations to partner closely with the Chief Operating Officer and oversee key operational initiatives across the firm. This highly visible role is responsible for driving operational excellence across technology, fund operations, vendor management, compliance, finance, human resources, and investor support.

Key responsibilities include leading technology and process improvement initiatives, implementing AI-driven solutions and automation, overseeing enterprise systems and third-party vendors, supporting private fund operations, and enhancing operational infrastructure. The role also partners with internal stakeholders on regulatory compliance, operational due diligence, business continuity planning, budgeting, insurance administration, and firm-wide strategic projects.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of operations experience within a private equity, private credit, hedge fund, or alternative asset management environment. Candidates should possess strong project management skills, experience managing vendors and technology initiatives, knowledge of fund operations and regulatory requirements, and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership across multiple business functions.
