Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab / Prep & Recovery

Shift: Day Shift
Contract Length: 13 Weeks | Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join a busy Prep & Recovery/Cath Lab team. This role is ideal for an RN with strong circulating experience and expertise in interventional cardiac procedures.

Requirements:

• Active New Jersey RN License or Multi-State Compact License
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Telemetry certification
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience
• ASN required; BSN preferred

Required Experience & Skills:

• Cath Lab circulating nurse experience
• Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, and PCI procedures
• Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) experience
• Mac-LAB and Epic EMR proficiency
• Experience circulating during pacemaker insertions
• Pulmonary embolism case experience
• EP (Electrophysiology) experience required
• Critical care experience preferred
• Sensis experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for Cardiac Cath Lab and Prep/Recovery patients
• Circulate during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Assess, monitor, and document patient care throughout all phases of treatment
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes

Schedule & Call:

• Day shift
• On-call required: 4 weekdays plus one weekend (Friday–Sunday) per month
• Holiday call: 1 summer and 1 winter holiday
• No floating required

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cath Lab RN looking for a rewarding 13-week travel assignment in a collaborative cardiovascular program.
