- Participate in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs with the Technology team
- Identify and define necessary system enhancements using script tools and by analyzing/interpreting code
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; recommend programming solutions; install and support customer exposure systems
- Apply programming languages to design specifications
- Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues; conduct testing and debugging
- Advise or coach new or lower-level analysts
- Identify problems, evaluate information, and recommend and implement solutions
- Resolve issues using acquired technical experience and established precedents
- Operate with limited direct supervision and exercise independent judgment and autonomy
- Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or team members
- Assess risk, drive compliance, safeguard Citi and client assets, and elevate, manage, and report control issues
- 2+ years of relevant experience with Python in the Financial Service industry
- Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
