Salary: £29,571.36 per annum

Pattern: 2 Days | 2 Nights | 4 Days Off (Rotational)

We re recruiting an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a nurturing, values-led children s home in Bridgend, supporting one young person in a dedicated single-occupancy setting.

This is a rewarding leadership role where you ll lead shifts, role-model best practice, and provide consistent, trauma-informed care in a safe and stable environment. • Act as Shift Leader, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and consistency
• Provide child-centred, trauma-informed support tailored to the young person s individual needs
• Promote emotional wellbeing, independence, and positive outcomes
• Complete care planning, daily records, and reports in line with regulations
• Work collaboratively with managers, professionals, and external agencies
• Mentor and support Residential Support Workers, including new starters
• Maintain a calm, safe, and structured environment at all times

• Level 3 Children & Young People qualification (essential)
• Previous experience in a children s residential setting
• Confident leading shifts and making decisions in challenging situations
• Resilient, calm, empathetic, and genuinely child-focused
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
